Qualification



Ans.

·         The only qualifications for appointment as Governor are that he should be a citizen of India and must have completed the age of thirty-five years

·         . Article 157 and Article 158 of the Constitution of India specify eligibility requirements for the post of governor.

o   A governor must:

                                I.            be a citizen of India;

                              II.            be at least thirty-five (35)years old;

                            III.            not be a member of the either house of the parliament or house of the state legislature.

                            IV.            not hold any other office of profit.
