CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test ) Exam Information 2021

• Eligibilty Criteria


The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.

• 1.1 Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.ORGraduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).



• 1.2 Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

  Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).ORGraduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). ORGraduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. ORGraduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

Note: Mathematics and Science for Maths and Science teachers (Science Background students). Social Science is for Social Science teachers (Art Background students).

• Steps For Registration:

1. First of all go to the CTET official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the link says "Apply Online".
3. Fill all the details available in the Online Application Form very carefully
4. Then, upload Scanned Images of necessary documents such as Photograph and Signature and other supporting documents.
Note:

• Size of the scanned image of photo should in between 4 kb to 100 kb
• The signature should be in jpg format
• The Size of the signature image should lies in b/w 1 kb - 25 kb
After that, candidate should proceed for the application fee payment. They can pay the examination fee through e-challan or debit card/credit card Candidate should print the confirmation page for future reference.



• CTET Application Form 2018 Correction


Once the fee is submitted successfully, no changes in the given details will be made in the form. Subsequently corrections in the details can be done online only. The particulars needed for making correction are:

• Registration number
• Date of Birth
• Enter the security Pin
Candidates should note that no request for any change in details will be acknowledged under any circumstances after the prescribed schedule for online application form correction is over.
